Since January 2007, Rolf Unterberger (40) has been a member 
of Group Executive Management at Siemens IT Solutions and 
Services, one of the world's leading providers of solutions 
and services in the information and communications sector.
R. Unterberger began his career in 1987 in the Public 
Communication Networks Group at Siemens in Munich, 
where he was initially active in development before moving 
on to work as project manager in Sales Germany and Southeast
Asia. 
In 1995, he was appointed head of Sales for business in Asia.
Following his subsequent move to the Siemens Information 
Communication Networks Group, Unterberger held a variety of 
leading sales positions and was responsible for South China, 
Europe and Indonesia. 
In Siemens Indonesia he was also a member of the Managing Board.
Since 2004, Unterberger has been technical director at Program 
and System Engineering (PSE), which develops software and IT 
solutions for the sales departments of the Siemens group.
Rolf Unterberger was born in Zurich and has two children. 
He studied mechanical engineering, qualified as an industrial 
engineer in Germany (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur) and completed 
a master's degree in business administration (MBA) in the UK.
