Today, university students all over the world 
are constantly asking how best to maximise 
the effect and potential of their studies, 
especially in light of the fact that the ICT 
global scenario and related job market is in 
constant flux. 
Technologies rise and fall at remarkable rates. 
To best answer this question one must be equipped 
with as much information as possible from as many 
sources as possible. 
The Malta and the University of Malta is just one 
of such several opportunities for studies and work. 
The intention of this presentation is to make you
aware of what the Faculty of ICT at the University 
of Malta has to offer, followed by an analysis of 
modern and emerging domains of ICT study and 
research, as well as ICT skills and cross-disciplinary
knowledge in demand, which will hopefully help 
stimulate your interest and guide you in your 
future choices.
