Trusted Execution Environments for Privacy-preserving Cloud Applications ----------------------------------- Prezentarea este organizata sub forma unui tutorial in doua sesiuni de 45 de minute cu o pauza intermediara de cafea si discutii. This presentation is part of the "EBSIS - Event Based Systems in Iasi" Twinning project. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 692178. ----------------------------------- ABSTRACT ----------------------------------- In this talk, we will give an overview of popular trusted execution environments (TEEs), with special emphasis on Intel's SGX, and we will describe how they can be exploited for implementing privacy-preserving operations in the Cloud that are both secure and efficient. We will discuss their main benefits and limitations, and we will present some of the recent systems that have been developed on top of them.
